SANITIZZANTE PODALICO is a liquid product with elevated sanitising action for the treatment, in appropriate basins or on mats, of the hooves of ruminants. It is a sanitiser composed of a blend of various active ingredients: Glutaraldehyde Benzalkonium chloride Copper sulphate Zinc sulphate. It offers strong action on gram positive and negative bacteria, fungi, spores and viruses. It is ideal for preventative/curative use regarding foot problems.In order to guarantee the perfect shape of hooves, it is advisable to carry out the treatment constantly over the entire year. Before carrying out the bath, it is important to clean the hooves of the ruminants in advance in order to not contaminate the solution.
Prevention: Dilute the product to 2% in an appropriate basin for foot baths twice a week. Care of dermatitis or weak hooves: Dilute the product to 5% in an appropriate basin for foot baths for 5-10 consecutive days. Follow this with the procedure for prevention. Intensive treatment: Spray a 1:1 solution with water directly on the foot of the animal during the procedure of hoof levelling.
